Our Story — Chicks Apothecaries
Our Story
Rooted in nature. Made with intention.
How it began
A kitchen experiment that became a calling
Chicks Apothecaries started the way most good things do — in the kitchen. Rooted for a deep desire to reclaim a clean and natural relationship with skincare, moving away from synthetic chemicals and questionable ingredients found in mainstream products.
What she discovered surprised her: the simplest formulas worked best. Tallow, with its uncanny resemblance to the skin's own sebum. Goat milk, with its gentle acids and vitamins. Calendula, with its centuries of documented healing. These weren't trends — they were traditions that had been quietly working for generations before the skincare industry decided to complicate things.
She started sharing her balms with family & friends. Then their friends. Then strangers who found her on Facebook and Instagram and wouldn't stop coming back. Chicks Apothecaries was born not from a business plan, but from the simple belief that your skin deserves better than what most shelves are offering.
What we stand for
Our values
Ingredient Integrity
Every ingredient is clean, purposeful, and traceable. No parabens, no mineral oil, no synthetic fragrance, no fillers that pad a formula without feeding your skin. If it's in the jar, it's there because it works.
Skin-First Formulation
We start with the skin's own biology — its lipid profile, its pH, its natural processes — and build formulas that work with it, not against it. Less is more when the ingredients are right.
Slow Beauty
Real skin transformation takes time. We're not chasing trends or making overnight promises. We make products that nourish consistently, season after season, year after year.
Ethical Sourcing
We seek out the highest-quality natural ingredients — grass-fed tallow, raw botanicals, cold-pressed oils — from growers and farmers who share our standards. Quality at the source means quality in every jar.
Our commitment
No shortcuts. No compromises. Just clean skin.
Every jar, every bottle, every tin is made in small batches — by hand, with intention. That's not a limitation. It's the point.
